Focus on Learning Disabilities - Opportunity, Inclusion and Equality

The keynote speaker will be Gavin Harding MBE, who is an advisor to NHS England, has a learning disability and was the Mayor of Selby.
The focus will be on inclusion, opportunity, learning and celebrating achievements. There will be four Listen, Share, Learn sessions where you'll be able to listen to others, share your thoughts and learn new things. You can choose two from the following:
  • The Dental Access Service
  • Reasonable adjustment and health inequality
  • The Opportunity Zone
  • Making Things Easy Read
Kingfisher Treasure Seekers will also be telling us about a project with the local Police Constabulary, recruiting people with learning disabilities as Police Cadets.
