Gloucester City Council is asking all partners for their feedback and suggestions concerning their Rough Sleeping action plan.

Gloucester City Council is asking all partners for their feedback and suggestions concerning their Rough Sleeping action plan.

The Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government published the Rough Sleeping Strategy in August 2018. It sets out the Government’s strategy for halving rough sleeping by 2022 and ending it by 2027. Gloucester’s proposed vision is to mirror that of central government.

Gloucester City Council currently has a Housing and Homelessness Strategy 2015-20 and is in the process of reviewing and updating it.  As an interim measure they have produced an Rough Sleeping Action Plan stating actions, targets, who is leading on the actions and the partner agencies supporting in delivery.

You can find the relevant documents on the City Council's consultation page at https://www.gloucester.gov.uk/about-the-council/consultations-and-feedback/current-consultations/. Please email feedback on the action plan to Lorraine.Hubbard@gloucester.gov.uk by 20 October 2019.
