Stroud District Local Plan Review: Draft Local Plan Public Consultation
This will run from Wednesday 20th November 2019 until Wednesday 29th January 2020 at 12:00pm
Consultation on the Draft Local Plan that sets out the Council’s vision, strategy, sites and policies for meeting development needs over the next 20 years.
The Stroud District Local Plan was adopted in 2015 and sets out a planning strategy for distributing development within the District and policies for protecting and conserving the natural and built environment. The current Plan covers the period to 2031. It is important that the Local Plan is kept up-to-date and the current Local Plan commits the Council to undertake an early review.
This Draft Local Plan sets out the Council’s vision, strategy, sites and policies for meeting development needs over the next 20 years. This Plan is now open for public consultation before the final plan is submitted to the Government during 2020.
Copies of the Draft Local Plan, together with supporting and background papers, are available at www.stroud.gov.uk/localplanreview
